End of an era

West Yorkshire Falcons 3 West Leeds Armley 0

West Leeds Armley could not get in second gear at all today,
not sure what it was why it was or even how it happened.

Unfortunately today saw our captain Dale McCormack 

see a red card after a second yellow
Shane Collins, Jordan Tate and Chris Wainwright
all also received Yellow cards today.

I wont dwell on what didn't happen, or how it happened
The lads have had enough to deal with the result and also

after I decided to resign with immediate effect as club manager
of West Leeds Armley.

I will stress this had nothing what so ever to do with
West Leeds Armley or the
great set of lads at this team.
I just decided to call full time on managing.

I have nothing but respect and gratitude for these lads
they have supported me for 9 months and continued to
show loyalty towards myself and for this I will never forget,
They have the SOLID foundations of a top side
and I leave with a very heavy heart knowing I have
given them nothing less than 110% dedication, time and commitment.
I wish them all them all the very best for 2016/17 season
and once more thank them for all.

Its not been all bad, I walk away from the team
knowing I did good by these lads,
I stepped in when the club was on the blink of folding just after christmas 2015
I maintained the bond within the lads and gained respect from them
I led the lads to 2 semi finals and
finished 3rd in the Summer league 2016
the very first if its kind.
I couldnt of done any of this without them players by my side.

For the final time
I have blown my full time whistle
